Ingredients:

Apple Pie Filling

  • 2 Baking Apples Peeled and Chopped into 1" pieces
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch
  • ½ tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • a Pinch nutmeg
  • tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 tbsp Water

Apple Pie Sundae

  • Prairie Farms Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream to taste
  • ½ tbsp Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • Homemade Caramel Sauce to taste
  • 1 Waffle Cone Broken into at least 4 pieces

Directions:

Apple Pie Filling

  • Peel and decore apples. Chop into small cubed pieces, add to a small bowl then pour lemon juice on top to prevent browning.
  • In a small pot, stir together cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and water. Add to stove and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  • Simmer mixture over medium heat until bubbles form. Stir in apples. Cover with a lid and cook until apples are soft, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
  • Assemble your sundae. Scoop ice cream into a bowl. Spoon apple pie filling over top. Sprinkle Graham Cracker Crumbs on top, then drizzle on caramel sauce. Garnish with waffle cone shards and enjoy!
