  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1/2 Cup Yellow Onion, minced
  • 1/4 Cup Prairie Farms Jalapeno Fiesta Dip
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin, ground
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper, ground
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste

Toppings

  • 1 head Iceberg Lettuce, washed and chopped
  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Cup Tomatoes, Diced
  • 1/2 Cup Jalapenos, Pickled or Fresh, sliced
  • 1 bag Tortilla Chips

Directions:

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add ground beef and onions. Cook for about 7 to 10 minutes, or until well browned and edges start to crisp.
  • Turn heat down to low, drain excess grease, then stir in spices, and lastly the Jalapeno Fiesta Dip. Blend well. Simmer an additional 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Assemble taco salads by layering on a plate or a deep bowl tortilla chips, lettuce, and spoonfuls of prepared taco meat.
  • Top with shredded cheese, sprinkles of diced tomatoes and Jalapeno slices as desired.
  • Garnish with sour cream, and fresh chopped cilantro, and/or prepared salsa. Enjoy!
